4th - 11th February at the Glasshouse
Exposure features work from Stephen Leslie, Johanna Harris and Jaskirt Dhaliwal, third year students from Coventry University.
Stephen Leslie has been studying in Coventry for over two years now and his interest in the city has continually grown. For this exhibition he is exhibiting a selection of photographs that reflect the current city and the regeneration taking place.
Johanna gives us a photographic insight into the way that land is used. With the pressing need for more land on which to build houses and amenities we really need to look at what we consider to be wasted land. Land has never before been under such scrutiny in terms of its value yet there are a number of areas that may be classed as wasted land.
Jaskirt’s photographs are part of her Photo Imaging Council award-winning photographs on female footballers which focus on the anomaly that exists between the high profile status that male footballers enjoy compared to the “grass roots” level of the women’s game. The exhibition will be taking place at the Glasshouse from 4th Feb – 11th Feb.
