Journo’s Enjoy Launch Time

Last Thursday saw the launch of ‘Automotive’ magazine and ‘WorldEye’ newspaper. Both are publications produced by the students studying for their MAin Automotive and Global journalism respectively. Held in the shadow of the Cathedral in the Alan Berry building’s foyer, the launch served to promote both Automotive and WorldEye which will now be in free circulation around the university. Three stars of the Automotive magazine; a Ford Fiesta ST, a Renault Clio and a new Mitsubishi Outlander were parked in cathedral square and provided the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot for the Coventry Telegraph just before the launch got underway. Speeches by the head of department Philip Draycott, and the editors of both publications to all the invited guests, rounded of a thoroughly enjoyable and by all accounts successful evening.
