Last week we ran a special edition on the speech at Coventry Cathedral by BBC director general Mark Thompson – one of the most important media figures in the country. While Buzz readers were treated to Jason Craig’s exclusive story on the BBC DG’s comments on media and morality – and on missing Gaza reporter Alan Johnston – Coventry Telegraph readers made do with a report on a new Ikea.
