For Andy media is just a tool, useful for exploring other possibilities. Coming from an engineering background Andy tends to have to think outside the box, the world has changed with the advancement of new technologies, the United Kingdom for example is no longer a country dependant solely on manufacturing.

In the competitive market place that the world has become; new media technologies are at the forefront for driving continuous improvement projects, the Japanese were among the first to exploit the benefits of video for data extraction.Leading high street retailers for example have switched over to using 3D for all of their shop floor layouts; this has reduced their planning time by 96%.

Industry now models its components in 3D as standard, uses a combination of video and photography to simulate builds, reduce cost and drive improvement programs. In an ever-changing world “goods” have now become commodities; brand names are no longer enough to guarantee sales!
