The National Portrait Gallery has acquired its first piece of work for the permanent collection from Coventry University’s Senior Lecturer in Photography, Jonathan Worth. The image of writer Alan Moore with wife and fellow writer  Melinda Gebbie has also been selected as the Gallery’s “Photograph of the Month“.  Â

The NHS after 60: for patients or profits? by Coventry journalism lecturer Dr John Lister (left) has won the Medical Journalists Association (MJA) Tony Thistlethwaite award 2009.
The award goes to the best book by an MJA member on a health or medical science topic for a general readership.
