Posting very little on this blog at the moment - mainly due to overwork and the fact that I am running another blog for 212MC and 310MC on wordpress.com - as all the students on these modules have .com blogs I am illustrating the pros and cons of the restricted installations rather than these fully editable installations. I will post here again soon but in the meantime visit my new blog at tutorsite.wordpress.com
Finally upgraded to Wordpress 2.6.3. Pretty painless really and so has encouraged me to do it for all the sites I run off Wordpress - about 7 now to date. The onyl issue I had was I was using a Translate plugin that I had to delete from the server before the database could upgrade. Apart from that - no problems.
Once again I’ll be cranking the old blog engine up for 310MC and later in the term 212MC (beginning after activity week). I’ll be updating some of the old pages and overhauling links and plugins - who knows - I might even change the old theme!
For those of you who want to get PHP exec (wordpress plugin) working on your blogs I promised I’d zip up some resources and upload them here… BUT it’s just as easy to link to them:
For everything else check the links at the bottom of the links page.
